Greetings from under the black resistol hat, and welcome to the World Wrestling Championship, Ross Report...
>> This week has been business as usual for the World Wrestling Championship, with the rebuilding proccess tstarting to really take shape. World Wrestling Championship's new owner, Nathan Phipps, has taken charge, and the future once again looks bright for EFEDC inc. and the World Wrestling Championship.
>> The World Wrestling Championship made it's debut in Canada... Raw is War on TNN was once again on of the highest rating pullers on TV, pulling a 7.7. Whilst due to organistational problems, Smackdown which should have aired last night on UPN from Calgary, has been rebooked for tonight and looks like being a great show, with a Kurt Angle - Rock main event in the wake of a Stone Cold Steve Austin suspension. Raw is War was worked quite well, and WWC officials were impressed by the attitude in the back. With the chaotic events and the 'new era' beginning here in WWC, tempers have been expected to flare, but incidents of this nature have not been present thus far, touch-wood. WWC staff have been very impressed with the maturity of some of the federation's developing talent.
>> The World Wrestling Championship is pleased to announce that Canadian-born Lance Storm (real name, Lance Evers) has been signed to a WWC developmental contract. Lance comes to us from WCW, and since joining the company just this Monday, Storm has really impressed the WWC officials with his hard work and positive attitude. I wish him the best of luck here in the World Wrestling Championship.
>> The World Wrestling Championship roster has really taken a beating as of late, and unfortunately some superstars have had to miss television time, and will unfortunately continue to miss valuable time here in the World Wrestling Championship. Names out at the moment include Triple H, Chris Jericho, William Regal and Raven, all of whom are great performers, are all being sorely missed.
>> King of the Ring is WWC's next pay-per-view, and it will air Saturday, June 24 from the city of East Rutherford, New Jersey. Tickets for the event went on sale this past Monday, May 27. In the wake of the action packed Judgment Day, King of the Ring is poised to be a great follow up pay-per-view. The fast-approaching extravaganza is going to be a surprise packet, with an injury-ridden roster, and with an unbooked card thus far, who knows what will happen come June 24, at the King of the Ring, but rest assured that the innaugural WWC King of the Ring shall be crowned. The World Wrestling Championship is yet to not sell out a pay-per-view, and the roster will be keen as always to show the sold- out Continental Airlines Arena their full potential.
>> The Big Show has recovered from the minor burns that he sustained at Judgment Day, he put on an impressive showing this week on Raw is War when paired with Ken Shamrock to work a tag team match. The big man's microphone skills are continuing to improve and it is hoped that he will be able to make the transition to a higher role with more improved work.
>> Improvment has become the World Wrestling Championship's key word as of late with many mid-lower card workers making the transition to higher places in the federation. The hard work of Mankind is not going unnoticed, and will not be forgotten when the big names come back to television. All WWC superstars are asked to try their very hardest and by the looks of the product we are producing they are all, for the most-part, doing just that.
>> Edge and Christian have taken their in-ring antics up a notch as of late and have been pushed subsequently higher up the World Wrestling Championship card. WWC officials are always looking for young WWC talent to step up to the plate and really hope the work-ethic of Edge and Christian stays with them for many months to come.
>> 'Y2J' Chris Jericho has been on and off WWC television over the last month nursing several injuries. The 'possible car attack angle' seen on last week's Raw is War television taping, will give Chris time away from the ring to allow his body to heal and free himself of any niggling injuries he may still be suffering. WWC officials would like to see 'Y2J' back in the ring as soon as possible.
>> WWC officials have been most upset with the amount of roleplaying in the federation, namely tag team division this past week. Staff hope that this will reserect itself in the near future before a firing party has to be posted. The work ethic has not been there as of late. Many wrestlers have been contacted by Nathan Phipps about their lack of enthusiasm and effort over the last few weeks and unfortunately the words from the CEO have had little or no effect, and a firing party looks to be imminent. WWC is the healthiest wrestling company in the world, and it will have no problem replacing those wrestlers that do not pull their weight, and fulfil their obligations as contracted WWC employees... Remember that, and...
Take Care,
J.R.
